Johanna has been providing support to breastfeeding families in the St. Louis area since 2012, beginning as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor with the WIC program. After acquiring the necessary education and clinical hours, she sat for the board exam and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2017. She worked in a medical practice specializing in breastfeeding medicine and tongue and lip ties for 4.5 years before establishing St. Charles Lactation Care & Support in 2022, and then merging her practice with Jessica and Danielle at the start of 2026 to create Linden Lactation.

Johanna is married with 2 children and is active in her church, book club, and as a volunteer at her children's school.
